EverTrue Senior Living at Mason Pointe
EverTrue at Mason Pointe embarked on a redevelopment campaign to increase the amount of assisted living options and amenities available while decreasing the number of licensed skilled beds onsite. The original skilled nursing beds were converted into new assisted living apartments, and old neighborhood hubs were redesigned as new assisted living amenity spaces with activities such as assembly, dining, entertainment, and wellness. The Wellness Lounge is the standout, with a gym, lounge with amenities like a self-serve juice bar, and a single-station salon for one-on-one conversation. The space incorporates biophilic design through wood finishes, water features, and soft neutrals with different hues of blue and green throughout. Other communal spaces host a sophisticated bar, a fireplace lounge, a theater, an art studio, and more.
Covenant Place II
Covenant Place II redevelopment plan replaced the functionally obsolete building with new, energy-efficient buildings and apartments to better serve residents and the broader community. The universal design allows ease-of-use for residents with a broad range of housing and accessibility needs. Room features include visual alerts for doorbells, smoke detectors for those who are hard-of-hearing, and adequate cabinets and storage within reach range for residents using wheelchairs. The new building also includes space for property management, commercial space for a physical therapy practice and medical suite, and a senior lifestyle center that services all Covenant Place campus residents and residents living in the surrounding community. The senior lifestyle center includes a café with a demonstration kitchen that promotes residents’ involvement in the community, gathering spaces with lounge seating, classrooms, an exercise room, a multi-purpose space for community events, and administration offices.
