Founded in 1991 by Laura Neri Baebler, LNB is a full service design firm offering services in architecture, interior design and planning. A certified WBE/MBE/DBE/SBE, the firm strongly believes in the intersection of art and architecture. Design is treated as a holistic practice ensuring that trained professionals work in tandem with clients and the entire design team to achieve the highest quality results.

Laura Neri Baebler, AIA
Founder, Principal Architect

Laura brings over 40 years of architectural experience to her role as principal and founding partner of LNB Studio. A native of Argentina, Her multicultural background inspires her interest and sensibility to the psychology of architecture and its effects on people. Her focus is understanding clients deeply as a means to create a concept narrative that influences and shapes the user experience and defines spaces for meaningful engagements through the built environment.  Her success stems from her ability to see multiple perspectives, connect with people and becoming a trusted advisor.

Michael Kelly, LEED AP BD+C
Lead Senior Designer

Michael is a lead senior designer and a project manager with 30+ years of architectural experience. Michael has been with LNB Studio for over 20 years, establishing a track record for reliably and effectively achieving project goals using his sensibility, strategy, and meticulous attention to detail.  He is a strong proponent for accessible, sustainable and biophilic environments and ardently dedicated to high quality design. Proficient in planning, and all architectural phases, he leads with self-assurance and a collaborative approach, making him an invaluable team member and mentor.

Karen Smith, WELL AP
Senior Interior Designer

Karen Smith has 13+ years’ experience as an Interior Designer. She brings knowledge, curiosity, pragmatism and sophisticated solutions to her interior architecture and design work. Karen takes great satisfaction in working closely with clients to synthesize their ideas and desires into the project design, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) selections. Karen is LNB Studio's Senior Living Market Leader. She is passionate about focusing on the resident experience for mind and body wellness, beauty, function, and timeless adaptable designs for ever-changing lifestyles.
