Project Overview

The historic Kirkwood City Hall remodel was multi-faceted. It included updates to the general office work areas and public visitor spaces. The historic building and Kirkwood's cultural character were maintained and enhanced while being updated for contemporary use. The attention to detail resulted in efficient workflow, office collaboration and increased security. Designed to clearly convey accessible services for visitors, the space provides a secure, friendly and welcoming environment.

The project had a condensed time schedule, which was successfully adhered to by the design team. LNB Studio procured specificied materials with long lead time items prior to the Contractors' bidding and selection. To allow Kirkwood City Hall to remain operational during the remodel, work was staged and executed in six overlapping phases.
