Crider Health serves the mental, emotional, physical and dental health needs of underserved and uninsured families in St. Charles County. This three-phased project included adult and pediatric primary care, behavioral and community based services, dental and ambulatory outpatient surgery, doctors’ offices, pharmacy and meeting rooms for outreach programs involving a complete renovation and adaptive reuse of an oddly shaped building. Exterior work to this office park building and site included changes to the fenestration, building color and signage, increased parking, ADA modifications, a terrace and landscaping. LNB’s design focuses on the client as the center, Compass Health's mission statement, and the sensorial touches impacting the occupants. The position of the client, travel paths, shapes, elements, views, and finishes from the clients’ perspective is the design driver. Biophilic design acoustical panels, a soothing water fountain and garden views add to immersing them in the feeling of a safe, comfortable and caring place.
