Covenant Place II was designed first and foremost with the residents’ needs in mind. The redevelopment plan was designed to replace the functionally obsolete building with new, energy-efficient buildings and apartments to better serve residents and the broader community. The new building includes management space for property management, commercial space for a physical therapy practice and medical suite, and a senior lifestyle center that serves all Covenant Place campus residents and residents living in the surrounding community. The senior lifestyle center includes a café with a demonstration kitchen that promotes residents’ involvement in the community, gathering spaces with lounge seating, classrooms, an exercise room, multipurpose space for community events and administration offices.
